Over the past month, we’ve seen an increase in the number of students visiting the Miner Food Pantry. We understand that the pause in SNAP benefits due to the government shutdown has created challenges, and we’ve made several adjustments to better support our students during this time.
The pantry has expanded its hours and removed scheduling restrictions. Students can now schedule appointments on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome on Thursdays during the same hours. Emergency food bundles are also available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Miner Food Pantry is located in the Student Engagement Center at 605 W. 11th Street in Rolla. We’re also collaborating with local nonprofits and food pantries to address growing food insecurity in our community.
If you know students, faculty, or staff who may benefit from our services, please encourage them to reach out.
EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE: If you are in need if immediate EMERGENCY assistance related to the food pantry please contact Engagement and Belonging at engagement@mst.edu.
