Mission Statement

We are dedicated to empowering every student through a welcoming environment that fosters engagement, well-being, and self-advocacy. Together, we foster holistic development, enabling every Miner to thrive and make a positive impact in their community, both at S&T and beyond.

Our Services

Miner Food Pantry

Hunger is a real problem for far too many of today's students. The pantry is to help alleviate the financial burden of obtaining good quality food and supplies.

Miner Clothing Closet

Engagement and Belonging has the Miner Clothing Closet, stocked with donated new or gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories, to aid S&T students who are experiencing financial constraints.

The Engagement House

The Engagement House serves as a welcoming space for student connection, leadership, and support.

First Gen Miners

Paving the way for your future? We’re here to help! Explore resources, connect with fellow first-gen students, and find support to thrive at S&T. Together, we’ll build your path to success!

Emerald Scholars Program

This cohort-based initiative focused on career exploration, student engagement, and development of essential skills. It is designed to equip students with tools for academic and professional success, while also identifying and supporting those at risk of attrition.
